Note: You need an iPhone 3Gs in order for this to work because we use the internal compass to detect magnetic fields.

Also: If it gets stuck beeping, move your device around in a figure-8 or just shake it around a bit until it stops.

It works... Its free... So shut up and stop hating, especially if you dont have 3gs!

It seems to work and reacts in various ways, even with sound. I would like to get a bit more information about the meters and on what is it more sensitive. Very good app. Please give us more information!

Some bad moments

Doesnt work unless you allow it to your your current location......then it still doesnt work.....only way i got it to beep was of o waved the phone around quickly....... Maybe its get better with updates, cool idea anyway
Nice free app. Probably looks better as a metal detector than it functions as a one. It doesnt recognize coins or keys; but if you are two inches away from metal otherwise, it does alert you. Guess the only practical purpose would be to determine if something is indeed metal, as it wont help you find anything missing, probably. However, does seem to work to some degree at detecting metal, and how many other phones can say that? Also, thank you for the free app Phase2 Media!
This app needs a picture to show where the iPhone magnetometer is physically, so the app can be properly tested. So far it works poorly.
Only works if I let it use my location. Even though there is absolutely no reason it would need to. Magnetic readings are totally random.
It only responds to movement it didnt. Work it doesnt respond to metal dont get this app its a rip off
